Priority Species Monitor: Manyoni

I have always been at my happiest in the outdoors – working with animals on a day-to-day basis. I grew up on the coast of South Africa in a town called George where a deep-set love was born for the ocean and mountains. I completed my honours at Stellenbosch University in Conservation Ecology in 2015 and have ambitions to do my Masters in Behavioral Ecology in the near future. After studying I spent a year working in Pretoria, and came to the conclusion that I needed to be closer to nature and resigned after 11 months. At the beginning of November 2016, I made my way to Zululand for the first time and fell in love with the bush and all its wonders. I haven’t looked back since.
