I have currently become the new monitor at Tembe Elephant Park from the start of 2016. I originally studied marketing at the University of Pretoria, but realised very quickly that it was not an industry I would be able to pursue a career in. I then completed a level 1 FGASA course with Bhejane Nature Training in Zululand. Bhejane Nature Training put me in contact with Wildlife Act and I immediately knew that I wanted to be part of conservation in Zululand.
I am enthusiastic about the environment and love working in it. Growing up on a farm allowed me to explore this love from a young age and has given me experience in many different situations in the environment. Although it is possible to learn everything I wish to understand as much as I can about nature.
