Hello Internet! My name is Galen which means “curious person” in ancient Greek. I was lucky enough to have been born in Zululand to bundu-bashing parents who love to travel. Being piled into the back of a Land Rover with my brother and waking up in a different country is certainly a major highlight of my childhood.
I have always been fascinated with nature and feel an amazing sense of connection when immersed in it. Conversely I am also rather fascinated by computers, technology and the Internet, which sees me spending quite a bit of time in front of a screen. Striking a healthy balance between the two is quite a challenge.
I have worked in various fields of interest but I am honestly finding working with Wildlife ACT to be one of the most exciting life endeavours! I have heaps of respect for the work that Wildlife ACT does, and so should you. Spending some time with the team will awaken something very deep within you…
