There has always been a passion for nature within me. From a young age I was interested in working in nature. At that time I did not know exactly what I wanted to do as long as it was in the nature. As I grew older and learned more about nature it became noticeably clear to me that I wanted to do conservation work. I have volunteered at a few reserves which made me realise that this is definitely the sort of work I want to do.

I have studied a National Diploma in Nature Conservation which opened my eyes to so much more about the bush. While studying I did some volunteering, and after my theory years I did a practical year where I gained valuable skills and knowledge about the bush. I am very grateful for the job I have and will continue striving to conserve nature.
