Priority Species Monitor: Southern Drakensberg

I grew up on a farm so I’ve always loved animals, but there has been something special about wildlife ever since I can remember. After I finished high school I left to the North West province and got my FGASA level 1 in 2008. I did some guiding for five years on a few game reserves across the country before I became a Predator Research assistant just outside of Kruger, for a volunteer organisation in 2012 where I worked for 3 years. In 2016 I went down to the Eastern Cape where I worked with veterinary students for two years, but I soon realized that I wanted do more conservation work. I’ve followed the work of Wildlife ACT for a few years and thought that what they did was amazing, and it truly is.
