Originally from Johannesburg, Mo’s journey into conservation began with his work at the SPCA, where he provided care and healthcare support to domestic animals, igniting his passion for animal well-being.

Mo holds a diploma in Nature Management from Centurion Academy, which he completed in 2023. During his studies, he gained practical experience on nature reserves in the Limpopo region, solidifying his commitment to protecting wildlife and ecosystems.

In 2024, Mo joined Wildlife ACT, where he completed extensive training in priority species conservation. This experience provided him with valuable skills and a deep appreciation for the diverse conservation work carried out in Zululand.

Now, as a Priority Species Monitor, Mo collects essential data on wildlife behavior, movements, and population health. His efforts directly support effective reserve management, ensuring that priority species thrive in their natural environment.

Mo’s dedication to conservation stems from his love for nature and his belief in the importance of animal well-being across all environments. His passion and expertise make him an integral part of the Wildlife ACT team, contributing to the preservation of Africa’s iconic wildlife.
